Cookie Policy
Updated October 8, 2026
Which cookies this site uses, what they are for, how long they last and how to turn them off.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser to remember information from one visit to the next. Some similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, serve the same purpose. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of them.
Which cookies we use
Necessary for the site
No cookie is needed to browse the public site. WordPress only creates session cookies when someone logs into the admin panel, which doesn't apply to site visitors.
pll_language (Polylang): a technical cookie that remembers the language you chose while you browse. It lasts 1 year.
Preferences stored in your browser
- lc-pf-vista (local storage): remembers whether you prefer to see the portfolio as a showcase or as an index. It stays in your browser, never reaches us and doesn't expire until you clear the site's data.
Analytics
These cookies help us understand which pages are visited, from what type of device and how the site is used, so we can improve it. The data is viewed in aggregate and we don't use it to identify you.
- _ga (Google Analytics 4): distinguishes visitors. Lasts up to 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics 4): keeps the session state. Lasts up to 2 years.
- _clck (Microsoft Clarity): stores a Clarity user ID. Lasts 1 year.
- _clsk (Microsoft Clarity): connects page views in the same session. Lasts 1 day.
- CLID (Microsoft Clarity): identifies the browser's first visit to sites that use Clarity. Lasts 1 year.
- MUID (Microsoft): a browser ID used by Microsoft services. Lasts 1 year.
Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and recordings of how a page is browsed (clicks, scrolling and movement). By default, Clarity masks what you type into forms.
Google Tag Manager, which we use to load these tools, doesn't set cookies of its own.
Advertising
We don't use advertising, remarketing or ad network cookies, and we don't turn on Google Analytics advertising features.
How to turn them off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Providers of these cookies
Google and Microsoft process this data under their own policies:
How we handle your personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a tool, we update this page and its update date.
